Ok, so I am not earning enough yet to quit my J.O.B. (just over broke). That means Monday is back to reality and back to sitting at my desk instead of home with my family. I just joined Online Business Alliance and am shocked that everyone isn't involved in this business. It is built on strong business principals - like starting small and growing slowly. It offers a great product (ebook) that is informative for a great ($5) price. This home business is affordable! It is also logical on the way it builds - as slowly or as quickly as you need it to. I am excited to see where this one takes me.

Learning to Run an Online Business

There are so many businesses offered online. Have you noticed? I had my first success with an affiliate program today - my first sale, which netted my $18. Not enough to quit my job over, but it is a start. Now I am hooked. I have spent a lot of time reading and studying to figure out how to do this online business stuff. Everyone claims to have the answer. Here is what has worked for me:
I am using safe lists to email other members about my Health Care (including weight loss) products, two affiliate programs, and my Free Mall which pays commission to you for shopping. I am also starting to research and use free classifieds. Traffic Exchanges seem to work well, but it is tough to open my email account and see over 400 email! Can be overwhelming! I am committed to learning to do this online. I am also very excited about the Health products and what they are doing for me. For example: the oxygen product instantly stopped the pain and itching of a chigger bite between my toes that I got at our 4th of July celebration. It was driving me crazy, as chigger bites can do. I experimented and put the oxygen on one bite and not on another. It worked!! This in addition to sleeping and feeling better. These products are fabulous - and that is just the tip of the iceberg. I tell you more soon....

Getting Focused

I have spent time on the Net searching for ways to grow my home business. Wow! There are more than I ever imagined. How to know which really work and which are scams? I found that I need to stop looking for the next thing that is going to work for me and plug away at doing something! Action, not reaction. Take opt-in email, for example. Great way to advertise to a target audience? Well, this morning I had 211 emails in my opt-in account. I will spend more time going through those to earn credits than is worth, won't I? Because I will not read those emails, just click and wait 10, 15, or 20 seconds, then delete and move on. What makes me think everyone else isn't doing the same? Is anyone really seeing my offer? I doubt it.

So, I have decided to get back to basics and work on a marketing plan and STICK TO IT! No more searching the net and getting distracted by this program or that program! Jumping from program to program is not doing me any good - or giving any program a fair chance. Let's face it, despite all the claims to the contrary, there is no EASY, automatic way to earn $$ on the net. If there were, everyone would do it and it wouldn't work any more.

Besides, the reason I want to work from home instead of selling my time on a J.O.B. (just over broke) is so that I have more time. Now I find myself constantly on the computer for hours and hours, taking all my free time and then some. I hardly spend time with my darling husband, Jim, or my fabulous grandchildren. I have become obsessed. It is going to stop NOW!

So, my next step is to take all this "advice" I have gotten and sift through it and design a program that will work for MY business. A marketing plan, written down and followed. My company, http://www.NoMoreClocks.com, has a great Power of One program. I need to focus on that. No more "schemes".

I Make It To Google Front Page

Wow, today was a landmark day for me. I wrote an article yesterday about one of my w.ork from h.ome bu.sinesses (http://www.FreeMall4UToday.com) and posted it on a blog by Steve B (http://makemoneyonlineideas.net). This morning Steve emailed me and said I was 5th on Google's first page for "online shopping with a payback". I NEVER thought I would have ANYTHING on Google's front page any time in the foreseeable future. I can't tell you how incredibly exciting this was - I almost cried! And my husband, Jim, wasn't home when I called to tell him about it, so I couldn't share it with him right away.

And the Days Fly By

I simply can't believe that the 4th of July is Friday! Doesn't summer go downhill from there? And the rain in these parts! Record setting today - almost 6 inches in the 12 hours since midnight. So I am staying dry and cozy working on my computer.

I have learned so much this week about working from home. Mostly what I learned is that it is VERY EASY to get distracted by all the promises of fast money and easy money. It is hard not to jump from thing to thing to thing hoping that this one will be the one. But then you get spread too thin and don't have the time to do any of it properly. The important thing is to pick something and then take action. DO IT! None of it is going to happen while you sit back and do nothing. And if you are not focused, you won't give proper time and attention to anything and then you will FAIL.

So, pick something and work it. And don't give up. And be passionate about it. Commit the time necessary to do it well and it will pay off. Maybe not right away. But be patient. Most people give up too soon.

My supplement business (http://www.HealthTimeMoney.com) is going well. I LOVE these products. I am now taking the Oxygen in my water and can't believe how well I am sleeping at night. No more laying awake for hours after going to the bathroom and not being able to fall back to sleep! And I wake up feeling refreshed. It is awesome. Oxygen and Sleeping

Ok, so now I need to get that 2nd job to pay for the gas to get to my 1st job. Soon I hope to be working from home. I talked to someone today who has taken our Weight Loss + product for a month now and has lost 12 pounds. I started on Tuesday. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Happy Father's Day! I sure miss my dad. We weren't terribly close, but he was my dad! I can't believe he has been gone 19 years. There is still a hole in my heart that will never be filled by anyone else. Why didn't I ask him all the questions I now have about him and his family while he was alive? DUMB.

My awesome husband, Jim, is a great dad to our four grown kids. We have been married 37 years come August. He is my best friend. We have both mellowed over the years and now have a great, peaceful, loving relationship free of egos and selfishness. It is a benefit of getting older (and there aren't a lot of those!).

Where Are the Days Going?

Wow, it's Wednesday already. I am shocked at the speed the days fly by. I really dislike owing 35-40 hours of my week to someone else. Now, I can't complain about my job - it pays fairly well for this area, it is not terribly taxing, and the people I work with are nice. But being obligated to give them that much of my life SUCKS!

So, I am building a business with the hopes of being able to quit my job and have a secure income so I can do the things I want to do with my time - like play with the grandkids, sit on the porch with my husband, spend time with my dog, even have time to exercise. In addition, I want to be healthy so I can enjoy this time.

I just got DSL for internet service this week and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Now I can actually do the things I only read about before - post video to YouTube, upload photos, BLOG! It used to take way to long or didn't work at all when I was on my cell service or, before that, on dial up. It is great.

WOW! I just got done listening to the call on my compnay's O2+ product and I am bowled over! So much I didn't know about balance in my life - ph balance to be exact. Garlic and Mosquitoes

So, back to talking about those nasty mosquitoes! It's that time of year and, at least in my area of the county, it has been a very wet spring. That means standing water - the mosquitoes' breeding ground. Expect a lot of them this year. Do whatever you can around your dwelling to get rid of any standing water. Change your pet's water dish regularly.



I always said if there was a mosquito in a 60 mile radius, it would zero in on me. My husband could sit happily on the porch for hours and not have one show any interest in him. But, as soon as I walked out there, I was surrounded. I'd be swatting a beating on them. No fun. I would finally give up and go inside. Now, I love sitting out on the porch with my sweetie. What to do?



I found this awesome garlic-based product. Taking just one a day has solved my problem. And, although I smell bad to those ol' mosquitoes, I don't smell like garlic. Nor do I burp it up!
